RACE RULES

All runners must adhere to the race regulations and rules to ensure safety and fairness for all participants, volunteers, medical staff, and organizers.

Qualification Requirements

  • At least 18-years old and below 69-years old
  • Participants must provide their real name and ID number to facilitate the organizer to help purchase insurance.
100K
  • Needs ONE finished time of 50KM race history or;
  • TWO finished 26.2 full marathon race history proof certificates in the last 2 years
60K
  • Needs ONE finished time of 42KM race history or;
  • ONE finished 26.2 full marathon race history proof certificates in the last 2 years
42K
  • Needs ONE finished time of 30KM race history or;
  • ONE finished 13.1 half marathon race history proof certificates in last 2 years
30K
  • Needs ONE finished time of 16KM race history or;
  • ONE finished 13.1 half marathon race history proof certificates in last 2 years
16K
  • Everyone can sign-up as long as healthy, kids age from 8-14 needs parents to accompany
8K
  • Everyone can sign-up as long as healthy, kids age from 8-14 needs parents to accompany

The 16K and 8K groups do not need to submit a certificate of completion, just provide a photo ID.

Physical Conditions

People with the following physical conditions should not participate in the competition:

  • People with congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease
  • People with hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases
  • People with myocarditis and other heart diseases
  • People with coronary artery disease and severe arrhythmia
  • Diabetic whose blood sugar is too high or too low
  • People with severe colds or other diseases not suitable for exercise within two weeks before the competition
  • Pregnant women
  • People who are infected with new coronary pneumonia or asymptomatic

Environment Protection

  • Respect wild animals, plants and leave no trace behind.
  • Large-scale events will inevitably impact the environment, and runners must do their utmost to protect the environment. Littering on the trail may result in disqualification. We ask all runners to help us monitor the situation and remind others who break the rules.
  • During the race, contestants should use the environmental protection bag (trash bag) provided by the organizing committee to place the discarded garbage, and take the rubbish generated during the race to the nearby replenishment station and discard it. It is strictly forbidden to discard rubbish on the track.
  • Runners are not allowed to take away bottles, bowls or other disposable objects from a Check Point Station. Please bring your own portable cup, bottle, or hydration pack.
  • Please use the rubbish bag provided in race pack for personal rubbish during the race. Littering is strictly prohibited.

FAIR PLAY

  • Runners must go along the marked race course independently and without any use of transportation.
  • Runners must be familiar with the course map and understand how to navigate.
  • Runners are advised to bring a GPS navigation device and consult their GPS devices when they're unsure of which way to go.
  • Runners must present a valid proof of identity to claim their race pack, bib and timing chip.

TIME LIMITS

  • There is a time limit at each Check Point, study the time cutoff requirements on the course page. Runners must reach and depart the Check Point before the time limit to proceed on the race.
  • If exceed the time limit, runners must stop at the Check Point and wait for repatriation buses back to the finish.
  • Players who withdraw from the competition on their own must go to the nearest checkpoint to declare their withdrawal from the competition, or call the competition contact number on the back of the number bib to notify the staff of the competition command center (except for emergency personnel to assist in leaving).
  • Containment vehicle service is only available at large service stations (the specific site will be announced one week before the game). Some points are not injured and emergency situations and containment vehicle services are not provided.

RACE BIB

  • Participants must present their original valid identity certificates to pick up the entry items. The number bib, timing chip, and race bracelet can only be picked up by themselves.
  • The bib must be worn in the front and on the top layer so it is clearly visible at all times during the race. The race bib and timing chip must be kept on at all times, any loss will result in disqualification.
  • Emergency contact number printed on the race bib. For safety consideration, we recommend you to write down your emergency information on the back of the bib before starting.

  • Any other breach of the regulations will be the object of a penalty decided by the race directors. Any such penalties are at the organizers' discretion and are final.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

  • In order to participate in this race, the following equipment is required. However, it is important to note it is the minimum necessary and that each trail-runner must adapt it according to their needs. It is important, in particular, not to choose clothing that is the lightest possible weight in order to gain a few grams but to choose items which will give real protection against the cold, windy, and mountain weather, therefore giving a good level of protection and performance.

  3. Jacket with a hood, capable of withstanding the bad mountain weather and made with a waterproof (minimum recommended: 10000  Schmerber) and breathable membrane. Skin windbreakers, plastic raincoats, and water-repellent coating jackets are not allowed.
  4. A survival blanket (not less than 200cm x 100cm)
  5. A whistle
  6. Hydration system to carry at least 1.5 liters of water (water bladder or water bottles)
  7. Bandage or made into elastic tape at least 100cm x 6cm

  • 16K/8K recommended water hydration pack description:  Since the replenishment station on the track does not provide any drinking utensils, including disposable paper cups, beverage bottles, etc., although the distance is short, players who need to replenish water should remember to bring their own water utensils.
  • If the contestants are unable to enjoy supplementary food, water, etc. because they do not carry any tableware or water utensils, the organizing committee, and on-site staff are not obliged to provide tableware.
  • If you bring your own disposable tableware, drink water bottles, etc., please consciously keep them, do not throw them away at will, please throw them to the designated place. Run without a trace, starting from the details.
  • Although portable tableware is not compulsory equipment, it is indispensable as a supply container.
  • Trekking poles are not allowed in some sections of the race. The Dawuyi Super Mountain Track is located in the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, and some of the tracks are typical Danxia landforms. There are many rocky steps on the track. For safety reasons, trekking poles are prohibited in some sections of the race.

SAFETY CLAUSES

First Aid
  • Medical emergency aid will be provided by the organization at the Start, Supply Posts, and the Finish. Please contact the emergency number printed on the race bib for help when needed.
  • If a participant gets injured in a dangerous accident caused by unpredictable force, the race organizer will do our best to provide rescue and assistance after the race, but will not bear direct or indirect liability for compensation. This also applies to the volunteers.
Abandon/DNF
  • If a participant abandons the race on the course, please go to the nearest Check Point. An abandon statement is to be signed and your race bib will be marked. Repatriate service will be provided by the organizer to assist you to return to the Finish.
  • If you abandon on the course without notifying the organization, the organization will not take any responsibility for all subsequences.
INSURANCE
  • Individual accident insurance for all runners and volunteers covering race days will be purchased by the organizer.
  • Transfer of race entry is strictly forbidden. Insurance claims, such as medical assistance, will be borne by the people who try to transfer race entry. Both runners who transfer their race entry will be disqualified from running in future events.

FINISHING & RANKING

  • All players who finish the race within the closing time will receive commemorative medals, a certificate of completion, and a souvenir of the corresponding category. Detailed information will be announced later.
  • Competitors in the corresponding categories will each receive ITRA (International Trail Running Association) points. Details are as follows:
    • 100K: 4 ITRA Points
    • 60K: 3 ITRA Points
    • 42K: 2 ITRA Points
    • 30K: 1 ITRA Points

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

  • The organization reserves the right to modify at any moment the course route and the positioning of the rescue and Check Point and Supply Post, without warning.
  • In the case of unfavorable weather conditions (such as extreme quantities of rain or snow altitude level, a strong risk of hazardous storms, etc.) the start may only be postponed by a maximum of several hours, after that time the race may be canceled.
  • In the case of poor weather conditions, and for reasons of safety, the organization reserves the right to stop the event underway or to modify the time barriers.
  • In case of cancellation of the race, for whatever the reason, no refund of theregistration fee will be made.
