MOUNTAIN TRAIL RACE
The Wuyi Trail Race features 5 courses with distances ranging from 8K, 16K, 30K, 42K, 60k, and up to 100K. Each route provides a unique challenge that becomes harder the longer you go, yet every course gives you the incredible breathtaking experience of Wuyi Mountains in the Fujian province of southeastern China. Hands down, this is a mystical bucket list adventure race that must be experienced by adventure runners around the world!
JUMP TO COURSE
8K COURSE
The easiest and shortest course is designed for first-time runners and hikers looking to join the experience without extreme difficulty. The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The 8K course gives participants incredible breathtaking views of the Wuyi Mountains.
16K COURSE
Stepping up the challenge and distance to 16K. The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The 16K course gives participants incredible breathtaking views of the Wuyi Mountains.
30K COURSE
While not an easy challenge, the 30K mountain race elevates the challenge and nearly doubles the 16K route. The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The entire 30K course gives participants incredible breathtaking views of the Wuyi Mountains.
42K COURSE
Extending from the 30K course, the 42K race takes participants deeper into the mountains to increase the challenge by adding a longer distance and more elevation gain. The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The entire 42K course gives participants incredible breathtaking views of the Wuyi Mountains.
60K COURSE
Extending from the 42K course, the 60K race takes participants deeper into the mountains to increase the challenge by adding longer distance and more elevation gain. The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The entire 60K course gives participants the incredible breathtaking views on the Wuyi Mountains.
100K COURSE
The biggest challenge at the highest elevation is the 100k mountain race. The 100K extends off the 60K course, giving participants the ultimate ultramarathon challenge in one of the most beautiful mountain regions in the world. The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways.
SUPPLIES AT CHECKPOINTS
Each station will have the following essentials to help you rehydrate and refuel during the race.

- Sports drink
- Bananas
- Oranges
- Cherry tomatoes
- Cola
- Peanut butter
- Nuts
Some stations will have additional food items including:
- Hot food
- Oatmeal
- Bread roll
- Toast
- Ginger Syrup
- Beer
- Instant noodles
- Mung bean porridge
- Pickles
