• 09:00 — Arrive at Tianyou Scenic Area to enjoy natural and amazing views of mountains, rock formations, caves, winding river, streams, ponds, and pavilion.
• 12:30 - 13:30 — Lunch at a local restaurant
• 14:10 - 16:30 — Bamboo raft cruising on Nine Twist Stream enjoying breathtaking and poetic landscapes. The boatman will tell you lovely stories concerning the landscapes passing by. After docking, you will proceed to Ancient Street with Song Dynasty area filled with local stores, restaurants, tea houses and workshops. You will also visit the Ancient Wuyi Palace in this area.
• 19:30 - 20:40 — Enjoy the wonderful local tea show, a theatrical extravaganza “Impressions of Da Hong Pao”, which is directed by Yimou Zhang who is also the director of the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic games, 2008. An incredible show that must be experienced!

• Tour Continues to Da Hong Pao &  Roaring Tiger Rock.
• 08:30 — Depart for the “Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe)”. This magical and enchanted valley produces the best tea in Wuyishan and is a tranquil and beautiful place. We will start to visit Looking through the crystal water curtain, you can enjoy the great view of tea garden which is in the bonsai style of Wuyishan. Then go on visit Ancient Tea Plantation Area to explore the special tea trees with 600 hundred years old, named as “Dahongpao”. Dahongpao Tea, known as the Emperor of Tea, is a kind of deeply fermented Oolong Tea and only grows on the cliffs of Wuyishan rocks originally.
• 14:00 — Tiger Roar Rock sits commandingly to the north of one-Ray Sky. Tiger Roar Rock rises straight from the gourd, imposing and powerful. Four characters Huxilingdong carved on the wall of rock. There are the famous Huxiaobajing including Bailiandu, Jiyunguan, Poxiandai, Pumendou, Fayuxianhe, Yuerquan, Bulangzhou, Binxidong; A Thread of Sky which is a magical cave with a spindle view of the sky from the heart of the cave.

• Check-out from hotel. Depart to Xiamei Tea Village.
• Xiamei Tea Village: what is the starting village of the ten thousand-li Tea Road to Russia in Qing Dynasty. Here you will understand more about our Local Tea farmer's life and story. Then walking in the Xiamei Village brings you back in time to the Ming (1368 - 1644) and the Qing (1644 - 1911) Dynasties. Most of the buildings are very well preserved and featuring the sculpture of brisk, wood and stone, which is one part of the Wuyi World culture heritage.
• Lunch
• After lunch, take a high-speed train to Xiamen.
• Welcome to Xiamen, the Garden City on the Sea. Clear the customs and retrieve your baggage by yourself upon arrival, be greeted by the tour guide train station who is holding a sign on which says your name.
• Shuttle to the hotel. Your guide will help you check-in. The rest of today is on your own to explore this beautiful city.

• After breakfast, take a 3-hour scenic drive to see the earth buildings in Nanjing County, Zhangzhou City.
• You’ll visit Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, Yuchanglou, learn structure Hakka House, and Taxia Village. Afterwards, drive 30 minutes to Gaobei Tulou Cluster to visit Chengqilou.
• After the tour, transfer back to Xiamen. Overnight at the hotel.

LOCATION DETAILS

Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster: Composed primarily of four round and one rectangular earthen house, it is one of the most magnificent and well-preserved Hakka Castles in the area. The village is also listed in the Famous Historic-Cultural Village in China for its typical cultural regional system.

Yuchanglou: Yuchanglou was built in 1308 and is one of the oldest existing Tulou. This five-story earth building is most famous for its tilted pillars. The most extreme is slanted at 15-degree angle.

Taxia Village: There are more than 20 earthen building of different shapes built along the bank of a clear brook that flows through the entire village.

Chengqilou: It is the largest of the earth buildings located in Gaobei Tulou Cluster. Chengqilou is about three hundred years old and is made up of four concentric circular buildings. This King of Round Earth Buildings has altogether 400 rooms and used to house 80 families, more than 600 people in its prosperous days.

• After morning breakfast, shuttle to harbor and transfer to the ferry for a 20-minute boat trip to Gulangyu Island from Xiamen City.
• Have a nice stroll in Shuzhuang Garden, a beautiful seaside garden and walk to the famous Piano Museum with a collection of 80-old rare old pianos from all over the world.
• Then, head to South Putuo Temple which first built in Tang Dynasty. It is renowned for its collection of Buddhist cultural relics, such as a Burmese jade carving of the Buddha, some important Buddhist texts. Standing at the top of the Wulao Peak, you can enjoy the bird’s eye view of Xiamen University and Xiamen Port.
• Return to hotel for the night.

• Depart to the airport or train station.
