{"id":54,"date":"2018-12-29T07:36:05","date_gmt":"2018-12-28T23:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wuyitrailrace.com\/?page_id=54"},"modified":"2024-07-09T08:40:49","modified_gmt":"2024-07-09T00:40:49","slug":"regulations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wuyitrailrace.com\/regulations\/","title":{"rendered":"Regulations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1>\n\t\tREGULATIONS\n\t<\/h1>\n\t\t<h2>RACE RULES<\/h2><p>All runners must adhere to the race regulations and rules to ensure safety and fairness for all participants, volunteers, medical staff, and organizers.<\/p>\n\t\t<h3>Qualification Requirements<\/h3><ul>\n<li>At least 18-years old and below 69-years old<\/li>\n<li>Participants must provide their real name and ID number to facilitate the organizer to help purchase insurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>110K<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Needs ONE finished time of 60KM race history or;<\/li>\n<li>TWO finished 26.2 full marathon race history proof certificates in the last 2 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>85K<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Needs ONE finished time of 42KM race history or;<\/li>\n<li>ONE finished 26.2 full marathon race history proof certificates in the last 2 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>55K<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Needs ONE finished time of 30KM race history or;<\/li>\n<li>ONE finished 26.2 full marathon race history proof certificates in last 2 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>35K<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Needs ONE finished time of 16KM race history or;<\/li>\n<li>ONE finished 13.1 half marathon race history proof certificates in last 2 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>20K\/10K<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Needs to have a certain amount of sports experience, running or hiking outdoors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>10K JUNIOR<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Needs to have a certain amount of sports experience, running or hiking outdoors.<\/li>\n<li>You can sign up as long as you are active and healthy, kids aged from 8-15 need parents to accompany and participate in the competition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>Physical Requirements<\/h3><p>Cross-country running is a high-intensity long-distance competition that can pose a high risk for participants. Participants should be healthy and actively training for and participate in endurance sports.<\/p>\n<p>It is strongly recommended that all participants undergo a medical examination by a medical professional, testing blood pressure, heart rate, ECG chart, and ultrasound examination before participating in the competition.<\/p>\n\t\t<h3>Physical Conditions<\/h3><p>People with the following physical conditions should not participate in the competition:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People with congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease<\/li>\n<li>People with hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases<\/li>\n<li>People with myocarditis and other heart diseases<\/li>\n<li>People with coronary artery disease and severe arrhythmia<\/li>\n<li>Diabetic\u00a0whose blood sugar is too high or too low<\/li>\n<li>People with severe colds or other diseases not suitable for exercise within two weeks before the competition<\/li>\n<li>People with COVID-19 three weeks before the competition<\/li>\n<li>Pregnant women<\/li>\n<li>People who are infected with new coronary pneumonia or asymptomatic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>Environment Protection<\/h3><ul>\n<li>Respect wild animals, plants and leave no trace behind.<\/li>\n<li>Large-scale events will inevitably impact the environment, and runners must do their utmost to protect the environment. Littering on the trail may result in disqualification. We ask all runners to help us monitor the situation and remind others who break the rules.<\/li>\n<li>During the race, contestants should use the environmental protection bag (trash bag) provided by the organizing committee to place the discarded garbage, and take the rubbish generated during the race to the nearby replenishment station and discard it. It is strictly forbidden to discard rubbish on the track.<\/li>\n<li>Runners are not allowed to take away bottles, bowls or other disposable objects from a Check Point Station.\u00a0<strong>Please bring your own portable cup, bottle, or hydration pack.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Please use the rubbish bag provided in race pack for personal rubbish during the race.<strong> Littering is strictly prohibited.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>FAIR PLAY<\/h3><ul>\n<li>Runners must go along the marked race course independently and without any use of transportation.<\/li>\n<li>Runners must be familiar with the course map and understand how to navigate.<\/li>\n<li>Runners are advised to bring a GPS navigation device and consult their GPS devices when they&#8217;re unsure of which way to go.<\/li>\n<li>Runners must present a valid proof of identity to claim their race pack, bib and timing chip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>TIME LIMITS<\/h3><ul>\n<li>There is a time limit at each Check Point, final times will be released before the race. Runners must reach and depart the Check Point before the time limit to proceed on the race.<\/li>\n<li>If exceeds the time limit, runners must stop at the Check Point and wait for repatriation buses back to the finish.<\/li>\n<li>Players who withdraw from the competition on their own must go to the nearest checkpoint to declare their withdrawal from the competition or call the competition contact number on the back of the number bib to notify the staff of the competition command center (except for emergency personnel to assist in leaving).<\/li>\n<li>Containment vehicle service is only available at large service stations (the specific site will be announced one week before the game). Some points are not injured and emergency situations and containment vehicle services are not provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>RACE BIB<\/h3><ul>\n<li>Participants must present their original valid identity certificates to pick up the entry items. The number bib, timing chip, and race bracelet can only be picked up by themselves.<\/li>\n<li>The bib must be worn in the front and on the top layer so it is clearly visible at all times during the race. The race bib and timing chip must be kept on at all times, any loss will result in disqualification.<\/li>\n<li>Emergency contact number printed on the race bib. However, it is important to note it is the minimum necessary and that each trail-runner must adapt it according to their needs. Run without a trace, starting from the details.<\/li>\n<li>Although portable tableware is not compulsory equipment, it is indispensable as a supply container.<\/li>\n<li>Trekking poles are not allowed in some sections of the race. The Dawuyi Super Mountain Track is located in the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, and some of the tracks are typical Danxia landforms. There are many rocky steps on the track. For safety reasons, trekking poles are prohibited in some sections of the race.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>10K JUNIOR COMPETITION RULES<\/h3><ol>\n<li>FAIR PLAY &#8211; Youth participants can choose to participate in the competition independently or choose to be accompanied by their parents. However, the mandatory equipment must be carried by the youth themselves throughout the competition.<\/li>\n<li>SAFETY &#8211; All participating youths, regardless if accompanied by their parents, need to participate in the whole process. Carry their mobile phone (or call watch) and keep it on and active. It must be consistent with the registration information submitted before the competition.<\/li>\n<li>CLOSING TIME &#8211; The closing time for the 10K Junior competition is 5 hours, and there is no closing time for the supply stations along the way.<\/li>\n<li>RESULTS &amp; AWARDS &#8211; The event only counts participants in accordance with the two age groups of U12 and U16.\u00a0 Youth results are used as rankings, and accompanying parents are not counted as rankings. Please contact the emergency number printed on the race bib for help when needed.<\/li>\n<li>If a participant gets injured in a dangerous accident caused by unpredictable force, the race organizer will do our best to provide rescue and assistance after the race, but will not bear direct or indirect liability for compensation. This also applies to the volunteers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Abandon\/DNF<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>If a participant abandons the race on the course, please go to the nearest Check Point. An abandon statement is to be signed and your race bib will be marked. Repatriate service will be provided by the organizer to assist you to return to the Finish.<\/li>\n<li>If you abandon on the course without notifying the organization, the organization will not take any responsibility for all subsequences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>INSURANCE<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual accident insurance for all runners and volunteers covering race days will be purchased by the organizer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transfer of race entry is strictly forbidden.<\/strong> Insurance claims, such as medical assistance, will be borne by the people who try to transfer race entry. Both runners who transfer their race entry will be disqualified from running in future events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>FINISHING &#038; RANKING<\/h3><ul>\n<li>All players who finish the race within the closing time will receive commemorative medals, a certificate of completion, and a souvenir of the corresponding category. Detailed information will be announced later.<\/li>\n<li>Competitors in the corresponding categories will each receive ITRA (International Trail Running Association) points.
